Healthy Ranch Dressing
Description
The 7 Systems Plan | by Julie Luse
Makes about 1.5 cups (serving size 2 tablespoons)
You can still have your blessed Ranch Dressing while you’re on a nutrient dense diet, yay! You won’t know what you’re missing with this recipe. Using a better mayo and the sneaky substitution of Apple Cider Vinegar keeps the taste but adds in the benefits. Dip your veggies, cover your salad or make your favorite dip out of this ranch. One of the keys to making this nutrient dense is using the right Mayo. Use Mayo that is made with Avocado Oil (like that from Primal Kitchen) or made with organic olive oil and cage free eggs.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Mayo (use mayo made with avocado oil)
- ¼ Cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Tsp lemon zest
- 3–4 Cloves of garlic
- 1 Tsp fresh chives
- 2 Tbsp dill
- ¼ Cup chopped parsley
- ½ Tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Whisk ingredients in a bowl, then blend until smooth.
- Makes about 1.5 cups and can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the fridge in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.
