The 7 Systems Plan | by Julie Luse

Makes about 10 servings (1 cup servings)

We spiced up this drab potluck day pleaser with a big of zing of ginger, the spice of Siracha, and a bit of sweet with Stevia. Don’t worry, although we’ve added some heat, it’s not enough to turn off the kids. This Cabbage Slaw with a Kick is suitable for the whole family and packed with benefits green and purple cabbage. Throw some nuts on at the end for some crunch.

For the dressing:

  • 1 Cup Paleo Mayo (avocado)
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tbsp Siracha Chili Sauce
  • 1 ½ Tsp ground Ginger
  • 2 Tsp Stevia powder
  • Pinch Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Pinch black pepper

For the slaw:

  • 4 Cups chopped Green Cabbage
  • 4 Cups chopped Purple Cabbage
  • 2 Cups shredded Carrots
  • ½ Cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ Cup chopped cilantro

For the dressing:

  1. Mix together all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Set aside

For the slaw:

  1. Add all ingredients to a big bowl and gently toss until incorporated.
  2. Pour the dressing over the top and gently toss to coat.
  3. Garnish with cilantro.
  4. Top with nuts for a nice crunch.
